Angles vs. Curves
Male aesthetics is the fastest-growing segment of my practice, yet it is also the most difficult to get right. The reason? The male face tolerates volume very poorly.
Angles vs. Curves
Feminization of the male face is a common complication in inexperienced hands. Female beauty often relies on the "Ogive" curve—soft cheeks, full lips, rounded chin. Male beauty is about straight lines and angles.
When treating men, I avoid the mid-face cheek apple entirely. Instead, we focus on the lateral zygoma (outer cheek) to widen the face, the gonial angle (jaw corner) to square the lower third, and the chin to project strength.
"A strong jawline isn't just about masculinity; it's about framing the face. It provides a boundary between the face and the neck, which is the first thing to go as we age."
